Overview
The Client Service Executive provides advanced client support, including comprehensive account management for a book of business, from proposal through evaluation of risk and industry changes. The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion and is responsible for developing others through formal and informal leadership and mentoring. In accordance with the seniority of the role, the Client Service Executive possess advanced product, carrier, and underwriting knowledge and remains informed of industry changes in these areas.

Responsibilities
Client Support
Leads meetings with clients, including meetings at client locations.
Responsible for providing comprehensive client support and acts as main client  of business.
Effectively manages difficult client communications including loss of coverage, claim denials, unfavorable underwriting and other challenging renewal scenarios.
Account Management
Negotiates and sells lines of insurance to clients to round out accounts as appropriate. May design insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned and directed by Agency management.
Owns all audit, review and claims processes for assigned book of business.
Analyzes data to draft client service plans, stewardship reports, and other meaningful reports tailored to the needs of the client and circumstances of the presentation.
Insurance Expertise
Develops and maintains strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Proficient in underwriting practices; able to manage underwriting relationships
Fluent in the client’s industry and current events that can modify the coverages needed
Reviews changes in carrier offerings and policies and relays information to the larger service team
Leadership
Mentors or formally directs the work of team members including Account Coordinators, Account Managers, and Senior Account Managers Facilitates and collaborates with account team on the agency’s renewal strategy
Client Strategy
Provides clients with Insurance Coverage Review and reviews methods of handling risks. Identifies and explains gaps in coverage. Works with the producer to write new business.
Attends carrier functions to learn new coverage options and risk assessment strategies.
Conducts book reviews to determine which accounts need an in-person risk assessment or client meeting to support agency retention.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
6+ years of related experience and/or training preferred, or demonstrated skills listed below.
Current Property and Casualty license required; professional designations preferred
Experience as primary contact providing comprehensive client support to a group of accounts.
Advanced knowledge of available commercial lines coverages based on business and industry; knowledgeable about vertical industry trends and client retention strategies.
